Scarlett Zhang is a London based jewellery designer and alumna of Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design. She established her brand based on the philosophy of questioning preconceived ideas that exist around jewellery. She juxtaposes opposite extremes, portraying conceptual ideas within fine jewellery, crafting delicate works composed of rough individual parts and using precious materials to exhibit casual references to common culture. Her vision puts a new spin on glamour, allowing luxury to be met with modesty and introducing a contradictory elegant yet brutalist style.
